Places I’ve visited: All states in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Bali, South Africa, USA, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe...

Favourite travel destination:
Africa
Why? It’s such a beautiful continent loaded with surprises and the people really make the experience.

Most memorable travel experience: My first ever game drive in South Africa in 2018, I expected a drive through a paddock in an open vehicle. I ended up with a passion for a destination I still cannot see an end to.

Travel Tip: Always allow plenty of time when arriving at or transiting through airports.

The best thing about my job is: Meeting my clients for the first time and turning a dream into reality, then spending time hearing all about it when they return.

My dream holiday: It's always going to have Africa included in it.

Places I’ve visited: QLD, VIC, SA & TAS, New Zealand, USA, Sabah (Borneo), Singapore, Vietnam, Vanuatu, Kenya, Tanzania, Dubai (UAE) and Thailand.

Favourite travel destination: Tanzania
Why? The ability to closely observe a huge range of African animals in their natural environment.

Most memorable travel experience: Bush camping on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater with elephants, zebra and warthog roaming through the camp.

Travel Tip: Learn at least a few words of the local language – it’s often greatly appreciated by the locals and can really enhance your travel experience (or at least provide some amusement!).

I never leave home without: Comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable insurance company.

The best thing about my job is: Working to create incredible travel experiences for my clients, regardless of whether it’s a hassle-free business trip, a fabulous short getaway or the holiday of a lifetime.

My dream holiday: I would love to travel to South America to:

  • Trek to the ancient Incan city of Macchu Picchu
  • Visit the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands
  • See the incredible landscapes of Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni
  • Hike through the Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia
  • Voyage down to see the wildlife and landscapes of the Antarctic!

Travel Philosophy: To not only visit but to truly experience as many different countries and cultures as possible.

Places I’ve visited: NSW, QLD, TAS, VIC, SA, WA, NT, Tahiti, USA, Canada, Alaska, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Noumea, Vanuatu, Cambodia, Iconic Rail Journeys on the Ghan & Indian Pacific, United Kingdom, South Africa and Fiji.

Favourite Travel Destination: I must admit I have a soft spot for the Kimberley & South Africa.
Why: I have been lucky enough to visit both of these places twice, and they still take my breath away.

Most Memorable Travel Experience: Experiencing a mother cheetah pursue and take down a Springbok for her cubs, is something I will never forget.

Travel Tip: Be mindful/respectful of each countries customs, and enjoy the experience. Also, it's handy to say thank you in their language, makes a huge difference.

I never leave home without: My passport, camera and sense of humour.

The best thing about my job is: The chance to use my previous travel experiences with my customers when booking their holiday.

My dream holiday: Well, I have quite few places that I would like to tick off my “bucket list”, the list just keeps growing!

  • Europe
  • Macchu Picchu
  • Yosemite National Park (the last park on my list in the USA)
  • San Francisco & Alcatraz
  • A bit more of Canada
  • Niagara Falls
  • Sri Lanka
  • The Northern Lights in Norway

Travel Philosophy: We live in a big world, try to see/experience as much of it while you still can!

Places I’ve visited: Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, Victoria, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Fiji, USA, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti, Cambodia, Vietnam and South Africa.

Favourite Travel Destination: I love anywhere I can get to on a cruise ship.
Why: Unpacking once, relaxing onboard and stopping to explore different ports is one of my favourite ways to travel. But I also love discovering new cities and places, South Africa has been an absolute highlight so far for me!

Most Memorable Travel Experience: I absolutely loved experiencing the culture and traditions of Cambodia and Vietnam, and the incredible landscapes and wildlife of South Africa - but our family trips to the USA and taking our kids to explore the world are my favourite memories.

Travel Tip: Manage your expectations! Things don't always got to plan and if you are accepting of that and stay flexible, your experience will be richer for it. Sometimes the best travel moments are things you hadn't planned!

I never leave home without: My Kindle! I will read anywhere. I also have a thing for travel "gadgets": I am the queen of packing cubes, I love my tech case for charging cords, powerbank and adaptors, I need my portable luggage scale (chronic overpacker), amgnets for cruise ship walls, air tags, laundry pods, pop up laundry hamper...

The best thing about my job is: Helping people make their travel dreams come true! Organising a bucket list trip for a client is so rewarding.

My dream holiday: Well... that's a long list but it includes Canada & Alaska, Japan, Europe (especially cruising the Med and visiting our former exchange students in Denmark & Norway), the UK, India, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka & the Maldives, the Philippines, South America, more New Zealand, more USA, lots more of the African continent and lots more of Australia.

Travel Philosophy: Life is too short to put it off until "one day"!
